Scope of Investigation

Jnana Yoga is the path of philosophical enquiry and discrimination (Viveka). It uses the intellect to analyze human experience, deconstruct the illusions of identity, and recognize the unborn Witness (Atman).

01

Viveka (Discrimination)

The sharp, rational sorting of experience into two categories: the Real (unchanging witness consciousness) and the relative (changing objects, thoughts, and sensations).

02

Vairagya (Dispassion)

The natural cooling of desire for temporary, object-based happiness once their transient, dependent nature is fully understood.
